CrossFit Kids Coach
Matt is a Certified CrossFit Level 1 trainer. After playing college baseball for 2 years as a pitcher, he decided to move home to study health and wellness, with the ultimate goal of becoming a physical therapist. In that time, he was looking for a sport to replace the void that was left from no longer being on a team. As a life-long competitive athlete and hard worker, CrossFit was a natural fit. As he started Crossfitting and competing in local competitions, he began to learn more about it, and his passion grew stronger. After one year of CrossFit he decided to pursue coaching because of his passion for helping fellow athletes become a better, stronger and healthier version of themselves.
Matt leads the CrossFit kids program because of his particular interest with younger athletes. Providing an outlet for kids to stay active while socializing and having fun is the most rewarding part of his day. Overall, whether it is an adult or a kid, he enjoys being able to help someone by making them feel good about themselves in their fitness journal.
