Most frequent class time and how many days/week do you Crossfit?
9 am

What was your fitness background before you started at Babylon Crossfit?
Traditional weightlifting with highs and lows in biking and jogging.

What accomplishment are you the proudest of (outside and inside of the gym)?
Inside: Starting to enjoy every class!

Outside: Enjoying every moment with my family.

After a hard workout, what is your favorite meal?
Some sort of flax/oat/nutty cereal or eggs with natural-cold cuts, with maybe a slice of pumpernickel-rye!

What are some of your interests outside of CrossFit?
Boating, Beach-er, Foodie, and of course, Lindenhurst Knights of Columbus.

What do you do for a living?
Lobbyist for a technology company.

What is one goal that you are currently working on?
Continue weight loss and overall health improvements.

Favorite WOD?
I defer to Paul.

Favorite Cheat Meal?
Pizza, with lots of toppings.

Favorite memory at Babylon Crossfit?
I have two: 1) my first workout after losing two weeks from Covid, and the entire place welcoming and cheering me on as I walked in 2) Trish’s excitement after I did my first 20inch box jump.

If you had a music genre, song, or artist playing in your head at all times what/who would it be?
9am knows me as a Madonna fan, but anything with a guitar or a beat.

What’s on your DVR/current favorite TV series & favorite Phone app?
Waiting on Yellowstone, Ozark, and Star Trek: Picard to come back to life. Phone app – LinkedIn.

Any advice for people who are just getting started with CrossFit or maybe too afraid to start?
I am not going to lie, it will take you a month or so, of consistent attendance, to feel comfortable, but I promise you after that month, you will enjoy every moment. It will become a part of life not just something you have to fit into life – I promise!
